The El Espino Project is an advanced I.O.C.G. (Iron oxide copper gold) system which extends for at least 3 km long by 2 km wide, within which numerous small and several extensive underground workings indicate substantial historical copper and gold production.

The Project has been explored by major international mining companies – Anaconda Mining Co., Rayrock Resources Inc., Goldfields, North Ltd., Teck-Cominco and Rio Tinto.

13,785 meters of drilling,with significant exploration has included intervals of copper-gold mineralization.

Potential exists for the identification of additional resources.
