The Venus-Marcelo Project - Overview

The Venus-Marcelo claim block covers an area of 132 hectares and is a direct northward continuation of the El Espino mineralized system. Venus-Marcelo is host to major copper and gold mineralized structures, on which six currently active small mines are developed.

Explorator purchased Venus-Marcelo from Sociedad Legal Minera Venus Una de Illapel and Sociedad Legal Minera Marcelo Una de Illapel, the Chilean companies that owned the claims. The purchase agreement included a total cash payment of US$550,000, the issuance of a total of 2,000,000 shares of Explorator Resources, as well as the issuance of 2,000,000 warrants, with such warrants exercisable at $1.00 per warrant and valid for a period of two years from the date of closing. Closing of the acquisition remains subject to all regulatory approval. (see Release dated May 15, 2007)

Explorator's objective is to begin a program of surface exploration including geological mapping and geochemical sampling in preparation for the selection of drill targets.
